Dan Seroussi
Director of Programs, Viking Air Limited

Dan has helped to lead Viking Air Limited since 2014 when he joined the Canadian aviation leader as its Manager, Supply Chain, to focus on material strategy and supplier contracts, in addition to supply chain liabilities and risks. In mid-2017, Dan then transitioned into his current position as Director of Programs for Viking Air Limited. In this role, he serves as the head of aftermarket PMO and is accountable for aircraft modification projects, related profitability, customer satisfaction and issue management.

Dan’s role as Director of Programs and his team also involves the management of complex projects, coordinating stakeholders for design, certification, and modifications of legacy designs. This includes developing related methodologies, processes and implementations.

Before joining Viking Air Limited, Dan spent more than six years with Bombardier Aerospace in supply chain management roles. He also previously served as Head of Supply Chain Management with Paris-based Europe Airport Airline, where he designed and developed a department in charge of full material support for aircraft maintenance and operations, and previously with L’Aéropostale as an ERP Project Manager.

Dan received his Bachelor in Sciences from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Master of Engineering from EFP Engineering School in Paris, and Master of Business Administration from HEC Montréal.

Jeff Berry
Director, Business Development, Conair Group

Jeff joined Conair in the spring of 2013 after a 36 year career with the British Columbia Forest Service, all in the forest fire domain, with 26 years specifically in airtanker operations. Jeff was the head of British Columbia’s Airtanker Program from 1996 to 2013.

Jeff led a team of fire professionals in developing what is now considered a benchmark centralized airtanker program. The cornerstone of this program was a state-of-the-art computer-aided dispatch system that enabled strategic and measurable tactical operations for an airtanker fleet. As a result of his work, and on behalf of his team, Jeff accepted the Aviation Space Technology Laurel Award for Operations in 2004.

Jeff considers himself fortunate to have worked with numerous firefighting agencies and their dedicated staff around the world. Jeff’s work-related travels for speaking engagements and fire management consultations have taken him from coast to coast in Canada, to the Northern U.S., Malaysia, Brazil, Greece, Australia and France.

Lorenz Jessen
Regional Sales Manager, Bell Textron Canada

Lorenz Jessen, based at Bell Textron Canada’s primary helicopter production facility in Mirabel, Quebec, holds more than 40 years of aviation-industry experience in a range of roles from engineering support, business development and sales. He has been with Bell since 1990 helping to grow the company’s commercial helicopter platform across Canada. With Bell, Jessen has served as a Product Support Engineer supervisor for the company’s commercial team, helping to lead the development of the company’s intermediate and light-twin helicopters, including leading support for the Bell 429 program. More recently, Jessen has been instrumental in Bell’s market position with the 505 and 407 helicopter models in Canada, including it enhanced Jet Ranger X models and the recently introduced 407GXi.

Established in 1986, Bell Textron Canada produces the majority of commercial helicopter lines for the Fort Worth, Texas, company. The Mirabel facility has manufactured more than 5,000 aircraft for delivery worldwide. It has an internationally renowned expertise in airframe design, product development, flight testing, certification, final assembly, parts manufacturing in composite, customization and customer support.
